Sigmund Freud

Many people have decided to criticize Freud saing, among other things, that he puts too much emphasis in sex; that he pretends to be scientific, but his conclusions are meaningless and vagus; most of his ideas are not even original; psicanalise doesn't work; that you can't have a clue about the theories unless you are analist. . . but the truth is that perhaps we wouldn't know such things as childhood experiences are very important in our adult personality; subconscious has a huge influence in human behavior; how and how often we use self-protection mecanisms; the importance of dreams and definitly that talking out a problem is one step closer to solving it, if there hadn't be no Freud!

i'm not a huge fan of Sigmund, but i'm also tired of seing people talking about things they don't know... an opinion is just another opinion unless you think about it for a (long) while.

I promess to come back with a little more of Sigmund Freud, and maybe, if i get audacious enough, i'll give my opinion about it! :)
